Content is one of the main items that Search Engines look for on WebSites. The more content your WebSite contains, the more likely your site will be picked up by the Search Engines.

Also important regarding content is matching your keywords to the content of the page. Irrelevant keywords (keywords that don't have anything to do with your content) can do more harm than good.
